Programmatic Campaign Operations Specialist / Trader

About the role

We are looking for a Programmatic Campaign Operations Specialist / Trader to execute and maintain programmatic campaigns remotely for South African clients aligned with U.S. Eastern business hours. The role focuses on building, trafficking, pacing, optimizing, and troubleshooting campaigns while adhering to strict QA standards.

Key responsibilities

• Build campaigns, line items, targeting structures, and components within assigned DSPs.
• Traffic creative assets and third‑party tags.
• Perform pre‑launch QA and monitor daily pacing and delivery.
• Identify and escalate pacing or delivery risks before they affect clients.
• Execute routine optimisations and approved changes within guidelines.
• Troubleshoot campaign, creative, targeting, and activation issues.
• Escalate complex technical problems to the Senior Programmatic Operations Lead.
• Maintain accurate documentation, naming conventions, and change histories.
• Provide screenshots, compliance documentation, and campaign data as needed.
• Support campaign closeout, reconciliation, and reporting.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of hands‑on digital or programmatic campaign execution experience.
• Direct experience building and managing campaigns in at least one major DSP.
• Ability to quickly learn additional platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and comfort with high‑volume, repetitive production.
• Proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets.
• Experience working from insertion orders, build sheets, and campaign specifications.
• Excellent written communication and disciplined escalation skills.
