Senior Client & Growth Marketing Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Client & Growth Marketing Manager to act as a strategic extension of our UK‑based client’s team. You will own a portfolio of key event partners, design growth plans and ensure their execution, blending senior client ownership with hands‑on marketing delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Own senior relationships with a portfolio of clients.
• Develop and deliver growth strategies to increase registrations and event revenue.
• Analyse event performance and pinpoint commercial opportunities.
• Plan and execute campaigns across email, CRM, social, content, pricing, referrals, partnerships and participant reactivation.
• Produce marketing content and copy when required.
• Create campaign concepts, messaging and promotional ideas.
• Brief and collaborate with creative, product and technology teams.
• Lead onboarding for new clients and set clear plans, responsibilities and expectations.
• Track registrations, revenue and year‑on‑year growth, adjusting plans as needed.
• Prioritise activities based on commercial impact.
• Constructively challenge clients with better approaches.
• Serve as the central liaison between the client and internal teams.

Required profile

• Proven blend of client leadership, marketing expertise and commercial judgement.
• Experience in agency, growth marketing, events or consumer marketing, comfortable moving between strategy and execution.
• Seasoned client or account lead comfortable with senior stakeholders.
• Commercially minded with confidence handling revenue and performance data.
• Strong understanding of consumer behaviour and conversion.
• Excellent writer capable of compelling email, social and web copy.
• Creative judgement on campaigns, messaging and content.
• Highly proactive, able to identify opportunities independently.
• Comfortable challenging clients and holding them accountable.
• Highly organised, managing multiple complex accounts.
• Autonomous with genuine ownership of results.
• Experience in mass‑participation events, ticketing or endurance sports is a plus.
