Professional Nurse – Community Health Care

About the role
Rhiza is seeking a qualified Professional Nurse to join the Mpathy Clinic in uMlazi. The role focuses on delivering comprehensive primary health‑care services to individuals, families and communities, with an emphasis on disease prevention, treatment and health education.
Key responsibilities
- Provide primary health‑care services including TB/HIV care, mother‑and‑child services and routine check‑ups.
- Implement and monitor health programmes, reproductive health examinations and education.
- Deliver pre‑natal and post‑natal care, family planning and immunisation services.
- Promote community health through health‑education initiatives and safety best practices.
- Collaborate with the healthcare manager and external health organisations.
Required profile
- Matric Diploma in Nursing/Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- Qualified Professional Nurse with Midwifery registration.
- 3–5 years experience in community health‑care nursing.
- Relevant certifications: NIMART, IMCI, PrEP & PEP, EPI, Family Planning Dispensing.
