Professional Development Facilitator – Centre of Excellence

About the role

The Professional Development Facilitator will be based at SPARK Schools' Centre of Excellence and will design, deliver and continuously improve the training pathway that prepares educators for deployment across the network. This permanent, on‑site role focuses on ensuring instructional quality and consistency for all teachers moving through the SPARK blended‑learning model.

Key responsibilities

• Own the design, delivery and refinement of professional development content aligned with SPARK’s blended learning model.
• Train, coach and assess educators through the Tier 1 → Tier 2 → Tier 3 readiness framework, certifying those ready for school placement.
• Collaborate with the Professional Development Manager, CoE Manager and school principals to align training with real‑world school needs.
• Act as the network’s subject‑matter expert on instructional model fidelity, classroom culture and Character Quotient delivery.
• Maintain a living curriculum, track educator readiness data, and ensure the quality of every graduate entering the network.

Required profile

• Deep expertise in SPARK’s blended learning approach and instructional practices.
• Strong experience in designing and delivering teacher training programmes.
• Ability to assess educator performance against clear standards and provide constructive feedback.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work with managers, principals and other stakeholders.

Required skills

• Expert knowledge of blended learning models and instructional design.
• Proficiency in developing and managing curriculum frameworks.
• Experience with educator assessment and certification processes.
