Product Marketing Specialist

About the role

HelloKindred, a staffing agency specialising in marketing, creative and technology roles, is recruiting a mid-senior Product Marketing Specialist for its client in the automotive and mobility technology industry. The role builds product marketing capabilities across consumer and commercial customer segments, bridging product development and market execution through messaging, content, sales enablement and launch support. It is a 12-month contract, hybrid with two days per week in the office in Midrand or Woodlands.

Key responsibilities

• Develop messaging frameworks and positioning for products across consumer and commercial segments, with consistent value propositions across channels
• Create product content such as overviews, landing pages, case studies, testimonials, solution briefs, white papers, thought leadership pieces and fact sheets
• Plan and run product launches with the product team through coordinated go-to-market campaigns
• Manage product marketing updates and create sales collateral such as pitch decks
• Provide sales enablement for insurance and motor dealer channels, and support product training and competitor insights
• Monitor the competitive landscape and industry trends, and benchmark against competitors
• Translate technical features into clear customer benefits and support customer onboarding content
• Collaborate with the Campaign Marketing Specialist and the Lead: Brand and Sponsorships on integrated marketing activities

Required profile

• 4-5+ years of product marketing experience
• Proven experience supporting product launches and go-to-market execution
• Experience across both B2B and B2C environments
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales and marketing teams
• Legally authorised to live and work in South Africa without employer sponsorship
