Product Manager – Catalogue Team

About the role

Takealot.com, South Africa’s leading online retailer, is seeking a Product Manager to join its fast‑growing Catalogue team in Cape Town. You will own the product roadmap, balancing commercial growth with compliance and risk management to ensure a secure, high‑performing merchant division.

Key responsibilities

• Gain deep understanding of the Catalogue division’s strategic objectives, processes, tools and external benchmarks.
• Collaborate with the Product Lead to define and maintain a roadmap that delivers technical developments aligned with business goals.
• Measure success of releases through relevant metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical user stories, breaking projects into phased deliveries.
• Lead end‑to‑end project management, from design through release and production launch.
• Manage stakeholder communications and engineering backlog, ensuring effective sprint prioritisation.
