Processing Reliever – Production Mixing

About the role

The Processing Reliever supports daily production by mixing products according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensuring batch quality. This on‑site position works closely with the production team to meet the daily production plan while maintaining a safe work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Mix products following SOPs and record detailed batch information.
• Operate relevant machinery, SCADA systems, and perform CIP (clean‑in‑place) on tanks and fillers.
• Conduct visual inspections, receive raw materials, and verify recipes.
• Take samples to QC, adjust processes as needed, and ensure batches meet specifications.
• Drive forklifts, off‑load tankers/trucks, and handle packaging disposal.
• Maintain a clean work area, wear correct PPE, and report safety hazards.
• Collaborate with team members, suggest improvements, and attend team meetings.

Required profile

• Matric with passes in Maths and Science or at least NTC‑3.
• Basic computer skills and ability to work shifts, including weekends/holidays.
• Experience as a competent mixer in a technical/operational environment.
• Strong attention to detail, self‑discipline, and safety awareness.
