Pricing Specialist – Telecommunications (12‑month FTC)

About the role

The company, a well‑known player in the telecommunications sector, seeks a Pricing Specialist on a twelve‑month fixed‑term contract. Reporting to the Chief Marketing and Sales Officer, the role will shape pricing strategies for new products, services and market entries.

Key responsibilities

• Develop pricing strategy for new products, services and markets.
• Research market relevance, analyse results and report findings.
• Perform cost analysis versus pricing margins and obtain CFO approval.
• Provide pricing models to account managers for customer‑specific solutions.
• Drive commercial models for projects and new market offerings.
• Obtain Executive Committee approval for competitive standard pricing models and equip the sales team.
• Facilitate pricing proposals and secure pricing committee approval during tenders.
• Negotiate pricing with customers when required.
• Manage pricing audit findings in collaboration with finance, sales and marketing.
• Produce monthly, quarterly and annual pricing reports covering proposals, break‑even points, customer profitability and market trends.

Required profile

• Degree in Mathematics, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Pricing Analyst or equivalent.
• At least 3 years experience in a telecommunications environment.
• Minimum 3 years experience developing and defining pricing structures.
• CIMA professional registration is an advantage.
