Project Manager – Telecoms & Automation

About the role

We are seeking a results‑driven Project Manager to lead telecoms and automation projects for a leading energy and infrastructure company. The role involves overseeing projects from initiation through commissioning and close‑out while ensuring technical excellence and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of telecoms and automation projects, from initiation to commissioning and close‑out.
• Coordinate subcontractors, engineering, procurement, and technical teams to achieve project milestones.
• Develop and track project plans, budgets, risk registers, and timelines aligned with project goals.
• Conduct site visits, ensure compliance with engineering standards, and maintain project documentation.
• Lead client communication, progress reporting, and stakeholder engagement throughout the project.
• Identify improvement opportunities and implement best practices in project execution.

Required profile

• BEng in Electrical Engineering (essential).
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in telecoms or industrial automation.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control and instrumentation, and communication networks.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environments.
• Project Management certification such as PMP or Prince2 is advantageous.
