POS Buyer – Procurement of Marketing Materials

About the role

The POS Buyer will source and procure high‑quality point‑of‑sale marketing materials for brand activation across the KWV, Bacardi and Sazerac portfolios. The role manages projects from brief to final delivery, ensuring cost‑effectiveness, quality and compliance with procurement standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage sourcing and procurement of printed POS materials, maintaining budgets and delivering value.
• Oversee end‑to‑end project coordination, issuing RFQs, obtaining quotations, expediting orders and monitoring delivery timelines.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal brand, sales and marketing teams and external suppliers, driving cost optimisation and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in FMCG print buying or procurement.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Purchasing, Procurement or Supply Chain Management.
• Solid understanding of marketing, brand planning and financial budgeting.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SAP.
• Excellent negotiation and supplier management abilities.
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English with accurate colour discrimination.
