Procurement and Logistics Coordinator

About the role

Terra Agri is looking for a motivated Procurement & Logistics Coordinator to support the sourcing, inventory and transportation of materials for orchard and vineyard netting structures. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will play a key role in ensuring timely procurement and efficient logistics for both local and international suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Source and procure materials from local and international suppliers.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships while identifying new opportunities.
• Forecast material needs based on sales demand and project schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate stock control and prevent shortages.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times and commercial terms.
• Plan and coordinate shipping, customs documentation and delivery schedules.
• Track material procurement throughout project lifecycles and monitor budgets.
• Oversee logistics data for site machinery, including operating hours and fuel consumption.
• Maintain accurate records in Microsoft Excel and liaise with sales, finance, operations and project teams.
• Identify process improvements and cost‑saving opportunities.

Required profile

• Qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related field (advantageous).
• 1–3 years experience in procurement, logistics or supply chain.
• Experience in agriculture, construction or related industries is a plus.
• Excellent communication in Afrikaans and English.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to relocate to Ceres.
