Podcast Marketing Manager

About the role

Executive Media Network creates branded B2B podcasts and needs a Podcast Marketing Manager to own everything that happens after an episode is edited. You will bridge production and audience by packaging, publishing, promoting, and measuring each episode across our portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Own SEO for every episode on YouTube, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify, including titles, descriptions, keywords, chapters, tags, and thumbnails.
• Optimize episode pages on client websites and on our own site to build backlinks and domain credibility.
• Perform final quality control on reels, segments, articles, show notes, and written assets before publishing.
• Package episode assets and deliver them to the appropriate platforms within set timeframes.
• Write and schedule LinkedIn posts for each host, maintaining the host’s voice.
• Serve as the post‑production point of contact for guests, sharing assets and encouraging promotion.
• Research and pitch influencer, community, and partnership opportunities to extend podcast reach.
• Plan and manage paid podcast promotion (e.g., Podroll, ad networks), including budget recommendations and performance tracking.
• Write and send email newsletters that turn episodes into engaging editions.

Required profile

• 2+ years in podcast marketing, content distribution, audience growth, or a closely related role, preferably handling multiple shows or clients.
• Strong writer who can shift tone between different hosts and guests.
• Fluent in podcast platform mechanics, including YouTube SEO, Apple/Spotify metadata, and show‑notes best practices.
• Detail‑obsessed with a keen eye for typos, timestamps, and metadata accuracy.
• Comfortable interacting with clients and guests in a warm, professional manner.
• Self‑directed; you receive goals and context rather than a daily task list.
