Platform Assistant – Hiring Operations

About the role

Join Crayon’s fast‑growing team as a Platform Assistant, supporting the end‑to‑end hiring workflow for startups and scale‑ups across Africa. You will ensure that job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communication run smoothly, working directly with the founder and the Crayon network.

Key responsibilities

• Post and manage live job listings across multiple platforms.
• Verify job specifications and screening questions for accuracy.
• Monitor platform activity, track role progress, and keep the ATS clean.
• Schedule interviews, send confirmations, reminders, and handle rescheduling.
• Assist candidates with onboarding steps and profile completion.
• Support Talent Partners in coordinating roles and maintaining clear updates.
• Follow up on feedback, reduce drop‑offs, and keep stakeholders informed.

Required profile

• Strong organisational abilities and high attention to detail.
• Comfortable juggling several live roles simultaneously.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, ambiguous startup environment.
• Self‑starter who can take ownership without constant direction.

Required skills

• Familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter (preferred).
