Phlebotomy Technician – Klerksdorp

About the role

An opportunity exists for a Phlebotomy Technician to join the team at our Klerksdorp branch. The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record in phlebotomy, high ethics and integrity, and alignment with PathCare values.

Required profile

• Phlebotomy Technician qualification and registration with HPCSA
• Computer literate; Meditech knowledge is advantageous
• Relevant phlebotomy experience is essential
• Valid Code B driver’s licence (manual transmission)
• Pathology experience, including order of draw and operation of point‑of‑care instruments (Hemocue, Stratus, arterial blood gas analyzer)
• Client‑focused with excellent attention to detail
• Adaptable team player with initiative and problem‑solving ability
• Effective communication, compassion, stress resistance and a positive attitude
• Fluent in English with an understanding of Afrikaans
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays
