About the role

Medirite Raslouw is seeking a qualified Pharmacist Assistant (Post‑Basic) to join its pharmacy team with an immediate start. The role supports the licensed pharmacist in daily dispensing operations and handles a range of administrative tasks to ensure smooth pharmacy workflow.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately.
• Perform pharmacy‑related administrative duties such as processing prescriptions, maintaining patient records, and handling inventory documentation.
• Interact with customers to provide basic information and collect necessary prescription details.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and internal standard operating procedures.

Required profile

• Completed post‑basic pharmacy training or equivalent qualification.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and follow detailed instructions.
