About the role
Medirite Cape Gate is seeking a qualified Pharmacist Assistant (Post‑Basic) to join the pharmacy team immediately. You will work under the supervision of a registered pharmacist, supporting daily dispensing operations and handling essential administrative tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the pharmacist with dispensing medication and verifying prescriptions.
- Maintain accurate stock control and manage inventory levels.
- Perform routine pharmacy administration, including record keeping and documentation.
- Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the pharmacy work area.
- Provide front‑shop service, greeting customers and addressing basic inquiries.
Required profile
- Qualified Post‑Basic Pharmacy Assistant.
- Ability to work under pharmacist supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
