Pharmaceutical Sales Representative

About the role

Our client is looking for an experienced Sales Representative to join their pharmaceutical team in Pretoria. The role focuses on driving sales of healthcare products, building strong relationships with medical professionals, and achieving monthly revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell pharmaceutical products to doctors, pharmacists, and healthcare facilities.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Maintain and grow existing client relationships to ensure repeat business.
• Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Prepare accurate sales reports and forecasts for management.
• Stay up‑to‑date with product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sales sector.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid driver’s licence for travel within the territory.
• Relevant degree in pharmacy, business management or a related field.
• Proven track record of meeting or surpassing sales targets.
