People Development Coach

About the role

The People Development Coach will design, deliver and monitor learning programmes across multiple store locations. You will partner with store managers to ensure staff receive high‑quality induction, operational, compliance and leadership training, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate classroom and on‑the‑job training programmes across a regional network of stores.
• Deliver induction, operational, compliance and leadership sessions, ensuring mandatory training is completed on time.
• Maintain accurate training records, prepare Workplace Skills Plans (WSP) and Annual Training Reports (ATR), and conduct training audits.
• Identify development needs, support onboarding, coaching and continuous learning initiatives.
• Analyse training performance data, report on regional outcomes and recommend improvements.
• Build strong relationships with store management and key stakeholders to drive talent development and succession planning.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field (Bachelor’s degree advantageous).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Learning & Development, training or HR, preferably within QSR, restaurant, catering or retail environments.
• Proven experience facilitating classroom and in‑store training programmes.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport for regional travel.
• Strong organisational, planning and stakeholder‑management abilities.
