Part‑time SEO Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a results‑driven SEO Specialist to work part‑time (5 hours per day) for a fast‑growing UK‑based marketing agency that serves electrical contractors. You will develop and execute local SEO strategies that boost visibility, attract qualified traffic and generate inbound leads for our niche clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement comprehensive SEO plans tailored to local service‑based businesses.
• Optimize and manage Google Business Profiles to improve map‑pack rankings.
• Conduct high‑intent, location‑based keyword research.
• Perform on‑page SEO, including meta tags, content optimisation, internal linking and schema markup.
• Run technical SEO audits and apply fixes for site speed, indexing and crawlability.
• Build and maintain local citations and backlink strategies.
• Monitor rankings, traffic and conversions using Google Analytics, Search Console and third‑party SEO tools.

Required profile

• Proven experience in SEO with a strong focus on local search.
• Demonstrated expertise in Google Business Profile optimisation.
• Experience working with trade or service industries such as electrical, plumbing or HVAC.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to interpret data.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
