Parts Sales Executive

About the role

Halfway Geely Kokstad is looking for a motivated, customer-focused Parts Sales Executive to join its dealership. The successful candidate sells automotive parts, helps customers find the right parts, manages orders and builds strong customer relationships while meeting sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Sell automotive parts to retail customers, workshops and other clients.
• Identify customer needs and recommend the correct parts.
• Prepare quotations, process orders and follow up on sales enquiries.
• Source parts and confirm availability, pricing and delivery times.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to departmental profitability.
• Maintain accurate sales records and customer information, and monitor outstanding orders.
• Work closely with the Parts Department and the workshop, and comply with dealership policies.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification and a valid Code 8 or 10 driver's licence.
• Previous automotive parts sales experience.
• Ability to communicate, manage time proactively and work under pressure.
• Existing customer database and ability to work with the existing parts team.

Required skills

• Knowledge of vehicle parts and automotive systems.
• Good computer literacy and data-capturing skills.
• Strong communication, customer service and sales skills.
