Outbound Sales Agent

About the role

Digicall Group is looking for an Outbound Sales Agent to make outbound sales calls, maintain thorough product knowledge, take payments and process orders, and share information about the company's portfolio. Leads are passed to an online Sales Consultant or Product Expert for processing. The agent builds customer relationships by regularly contacting existing customers according to marketing campaigns and cultivates new clients through proactive customer service and lead generation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead generation, validation and follow-up through campaign calls
• Create interest with clients and assess prospective clients
• Maintain continuous communication with the customer until vehicle handover
• Call prospective buyers and make bookings via various channels
• Update ratings and feedback on potential buyers
• Achieve SLAs, maintain large datasets and provide data reporting

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4
• Minimum 1 year of lead-generation and sales experience
• Advantageous: financial accreditation, post-high-school certification or sales/customer experience training, contact centre and customer service qualification
• Advantageous: background in customer service, relationship management, cross-selling, upselling, quoting and customer acquisition

Required skills

• Knowledge of email, voice and data communication
• Competence in Microsoft products such as Excel, Word and Outlook
• Good business writing and typing skills, good English
• Negotiation, persuasion, multitasking, strong commercial skills and finance acumen
• Time management and adaptability to a fast-paced environment
• Advantageous: live chat, social media, automotive industry knowledge
