Customer Support Specialist (Remote, Part-Time to Start)

About the role

A fast-growing boutique fitness studio group based in Berlin, Germany, is building a small, dedicated remote support team to look after members and on-site staff outside regular hours. The role starts part-time and has room to grow as the company opens new locations. It is fully remote.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the friendly, reliable point of contact for members asking about bookings, accounts, refunds and similar requests
• Support on-site trainers with occasional urgent requests
• Communicate exclusively in writing (chat, WhatsApp or email); no phone calls required
• Represent the brand's warm, down-to-earth tone in every interaction

Required profile

• Excellent written English
• Genuine empathy and good sense of tone, able to respond warmly even to a frustrated message
• Good judgment and comfort making sensible decisions independently
• Reliability and a sense of ownership in a small, remote-first team
• Comfortable working early mornings, evenings and/or weekends; exact shifts discussed during the process
• German is a plus but not required

Required skills

• No specific software experience is required; full training is provided
• Not a traditional call-center agent relying on scripts, nor someone who needs to check in before every decision
