Key responsibilities

• Assist the experienced optometrists and optical staff with daily operations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by helping clients choose eyewear that suits their needs and style.
• Assist with basic frame adjustments, repairs and fittings.
• Manage inventory and keep the display of eyewear attractive and organised.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for clients.
• Learn about the latest trends and technologies in the optical industry.
• Take part in ongoing training and development opportunities.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an Optical Assistant or within the optical industry.
• Fluent in both Afrikaans and English (essential).
• Excellent knowledge of frames, lenses and eyewear solutions.
• Strong sales ability and a passion for outstanding customer service.
• Professional, well-presented and client-focused approach.
• Ability to work confidently in a premium, high-end retail environment.
