About the role
This fixed‑term Band 7 position offers an exciting opportunity for a nurse with a strong interest in ophthalmology to lead the intravitreal injection service. You will work within a dynamic team, supporting increasing patient demand with an innovative approach.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the intravitreal injection service as the sole responsible clinician.
- Provide high‑quality patient care and maintain service standards.
- Collaborate with the ophthalmology team to develop and improve service delivery.
- Participate in clinical and academic training opportunities.
Required profile
- Current experience in ophthalmology nursing.
- Awareness of service pressures and a willingness to take on specialist responsibilities.
- Commitment to professional development within the specialty.
