Operations Dispatch & Fleet Assistant

About the role

BluPool is seeking a practical, organised and reliable Operations Dispatch & Fleet Assistant to ensure the daily readiness of its field teams. The role involves preparing stock, chemicals, tools, equipment and vehicles before teams depart for site, and keeping the stores, yard and fleet clean, safe and well‑organised.

Key responsibilities

• Open stores each morning and assist with dispatch preparation.
• Pick and prepare daily stock, chemicals, tools and equipment for maintenance, repair and construction crews.
• Load vehicles correctly, record any shortages or issues, and manage returned items at day‑end.
• Receive supplier deliveries, verify quantities, and store items neatly.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in stores, chemical areas and the yard.
• Conduct daily stock counts, report damaged, expired or low‑stock items, and enforce stock handling discipline.
• Perform vehicle readiness checks, report damage, tyre issues or service concerns.
• Issue and receive tools, PPE and uniforms, maintaining basic records.
• Collect stock from suppliers, assist with loading/unloading, and support compliance and housekeeping.
• Collaborate with procurement staff on inventory control requirements.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s licence.
• Previous experience in stores, warehouse, dispatch, logistics, fleet, hardware, construction supply or maintenance support.
• Physically fit and able to perform hands‑on work.
• Reliable, punctual, organised and able to work under pressure.
• Basic computer literacy and good record‑keeping ability.
• Honest and accountable with company stock and tools.
