Operational Sales Manager – R1.3M CTC + commission

About the role

Prism Placements is seeking an Operational Sales Manager to lead a high‑performing sales operation for a fast‑growing distribution solutions provider in the Linbro area. You will be responsible for driving sales performance, managing both internal and external sales teams, and ensuring the delivery of key account objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high‑performing sales operation in the Linbro region.
• Manage internal and external sales teams, setting targets and monitoring performance.
• Oversee key account management, CRM usage, and sales reporting.
• Drive innovative sales strategies, handle statistics, and manage sales leads.
• Ensure accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management.

Required profile

• Relevant B‑degree or Honours qualification.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a sales management role with strong leadership, coaching, and people‑management skills.
• Proven internal and external sales management experience in a product‑heavy environment.
• Experience managing key accounts, CRM systems, and sales reporting.
• Fluency in English and Afrikaans.
• South African citizenship.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with sales management systems.
• Knowledge of CRM platforms.

What we offer

• Annual total compensation of R1.3 million plus commission.
