Office Manager / Administrator – Medical Practice

About the role

This full‑time position offers the chance to run the day‑to‑day operations of a well‑established boutique medical practice in Illovo, Rosebank. You will work closely with healthcare professionals and support staff, ensuring smooth administrative flow without needing a medical background.

Key responsibilities

• Manage patient bookings, cancellations and the daily calendar for practitioners.
• Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, handling debtors and creditors.
• Coordinate office maintenance and ensure equipment functions properly.
• Supervise front‑desk staff and maintain efficient administrative workflows.
• Respond promptly to client inquiries and resolve office complaints.
• Order and manage practice supplies, liaising with vendors.
• Oversee overall office operations to keep the practice running efficiently.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or Matric certificate.
• Proven experience in office management or general administration.
• Basic bookkeeping ability.
• Strong organisational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and a positive, helpful attitude.
• Willingness to learn and support a dynamic practice team.
