Occupational Health Nurse – Stanger, KZN

About the role

Life Healthcare Group is seeking an Occupational Health Nurse to join its clinic in Stanger, Mandeni (KZN). Reporting to the Business Manager, you will deliver comprehensive occupational and primary health services to ensure a safe and healthy workplace for client employees.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and develop an Occupational Health program that supports physical, psychological and social well‑being of workers.
• Monitor employee health through ongoing surveillance programmes in line with SOPs.
• Provide actionable information to eliminate, control and minimise health risks and hazards.
• Coordinate emergency procedures and ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and OHSAS 18001:2007 standards.
• Manage the clinic budget, administer services efficiently and support internal and external audits.
• Deliver high‑quality primary health care, meeting the standards of Life Health Solutions and client expectations.

Required profile

• General Nursing qualification plus Occupational Health Nursing B Tech/Diploma.
• 2‑3 years relevant experience and registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) with occupational health qualification noted.
• Sound knowledge of occupational and primary health care services.
• Certificates in dispensing, spirometry, audiometry (SASOHN registration), vision screening and HIV counselling & testing.
• Computer literacy and experience in administration and employee relations.
