Non-Conforming Product Assistant

About the role

The Non-Conforming Product (NCP) Assistant ensures that Hungry Lion’s product claim process runs smoothly and accurately. You will manage the NCP application, support stores in logging claims correctly, and verify that every submission includes the required documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the NCP app on a daily basis and ensure stores log claims in the correct categories (damaged stock, short deliveries, undersized pieces).
• Check that batch numbers on claims match the physical label on the stock, not the invoice number.
• Monitor weight compliance for items such as Mini Fillets and Chicken Fingers, ensuring photographic proof is attached.
• Track claims through to authorisation and confirm that stores submit disposal certificates before supplier credit is finalised.
• Follow up with stores when documentation is missing, incorrect, or overdue.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) qualification.
• Basic computer literacy and competence in Google Suite.
• Strong communication skills across email, phone, and chat.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
• An administrative certificate is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
