Procurement Specialist – Logistics

About the role

The Procurement Specialist – Logistics will lead the end‑to‑end procurement lifecycle for logistics‑related categories, ensuring cost competitiveness, supply security and sustainability. This role partners with internal stakeholders to translate strategic sourcing plans into actionable contracts and monitors performance to deliver continuous value.

Key responsibilities

• Execute competitive sourcing events and develop tailored negotiation strategies aligned with category objectives.
• Translate category strategies into detailed sourcing plans, analysing market trends and supplier capabilities.
• Draft, negotiate, implement and manage supplier contracts, overseeing renewals, amendments and closures.
• Monitor supplier performance against contract KPIs, conduct quarterly reviews and drive improvement initiatives.
• Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, supporting development programs that align with sustainability goals.
• Act as a business partner to internal functions, aligning procurement activities with operational priorities.
• Ensure compliance with Source‑to‑Contract and Source‑to‑Pay policies, maintain accurate records and support audit readiness.

Required profile

• University degree; master’s preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in category management or a similar procurement role.
• Proven leadership and team‑management experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and strategic thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
