Next Generation Accountant

About the role

Network Finance is seeking a forward‑thinking accountant to join its Cape Town team. This position blends core accounting expertise with a genuine interest in Web3, digital assets and AI‑driven finance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare management accounts, reconciliations, journals and financial statements.
• Support the accounting and reporting of cryptocurrency and digital‑asset transactions.
• Assist with financial controls, compliance, audits and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with operational and technology teams to improve financial processes and reporting capabilities.
• Contribute to finance‑related projects involving blockchain, digital assets and automation initiatives.

Required profile

• B.Com degree with CA(SA) qualification.
• Strong accounting and financial reporting fundamentals.
• Passion for or exposure to Web3, blockchain, cryptocurrency, AI and digital assets.
• Interest in emerging technologies and the future of finance.

Required skills

• Technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
• Understanding of cryptocurrency and digital‑asset accounting.
