Network Operations Control Coordinator (South Africa)

About the role

Join a global logistics leader that connects people worldwide. As a Network Operations Control Coordinator you will help design and implement dispatch and network control plans to ensure efficient transportation and distribution of products across the air network.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the design and implementation of dispatching and network control processes to maximise efficiency, quality and customer service.
• Act as the first point of contact for all air network operation queries, providing ad‑hoc contingency solutions when disruptions occur.
• Communicate clearly with network staff about alterations to pre‑planned operations.
• Manage day‑to‑day activities of partner, truck and CAL mode transport, supporting ACS charter and network requests.
• Maintain integrity of air network schedules by ensuring published block times, line‑haul timings and capacity assignments are adhered to.
• Oversee delivery activities to and from company stores, warehouses and other destinations, and monitor lost or delayed shipments.
• Develop and execute process‑improvement plans, analysing complex issues and implementing best practices for dispatch and network control.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• More than 6 years of experience in logistics, network operations or related fields.
