About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a versatile contractor to support its customer‑facing operations in Pinelands. The role is full‑time and contract‑based, focusing on delivering high‑quality service and driving sales opportunities across our financial products.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct consultative selling and identify upselling opportunities with existing customers.
• Manage customer complaints and feedback, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement.
• Utilise CRM software to record interactions, track sales data and maintain accurate customer records.
• Analyse customer data to uncover trends and support digital consumer engagement initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to strengthen customer relationships and promote product adoption.

Required profile

• Matriculation Certificate (Matric) or equivalent.
• Proven experience in customer service, sales or related commercial functions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently on a contract basis and meet performance targets.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
