Mobile Team Leader – Johannesburg

About the role

Hollywoodbets is seeking a Mobile Team Leader to join its Purple Team in Johannesburg. You will lead a group of Mobile Clerks, drive sales performance, and support marketing initiatives across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Area Managers to achieve target numbers for active and qualified accounts.
• Plan and execute marketing campaigns together with the Marketing Team.
• Coordinate daily promotional activities and ensure marketing materials are ready for regional and national events.
• Track promotion effectiveness using ROI metrics and Promo Tracker.
• Conduct market analysis and propose improvements.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard new Mobile Clerks; set daily targets and conduct performance reviews.
• Manage day‑to‑day HR functions, including PIP, attendance, leave, and absenteeism.
• Oversee cash‑up procedures, report shortages, and ensure stock levels are monitored.
• Organise continuous training on betting types, mobile betting processes, and product knowledge.
• Provide operational support to Area Managers and generate daily reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months experience in a leadership role.
• Proven record of exceeding sales quotas.
• Strong ability to understand customer needs and handle diverse personalities.
• Excellent listening, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
