Mini Bar Attendant

About the role

The Mini Bar Attendant ensures that every guest’s mini‑bar experience is seamless, from accurate stocking to immediate charging of purchases. Working within One&Only Cape Town’s luxury environment, you will support the hospitality team by maintaining high standards of presentation, inventory control, and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Collect arrival, departure, and VIP mini‑bar requests from reception and initiate room replenishment.
• Stock each mini‑bar to the prescribed par level daily, following the property’s SOP and product list.
• Record all stock movements on the stock sheet and charge guest accounts instantly for any consumption.
• Manage trolley keys, open trolleys with a colleague, count opening stock, and ensure trolleys are stocked to the correct level.
• Report shift start details to the IRD Supervisor or Manager and log any equipment or safety issues.
• Learn and apply fire‑safety procedures, operate hotel firefighting equipment, and stay informed about daily events and facilities to answer guest inquiries.
• Participate in scheduled training sessions, briefings, and any additional duties assigned on the weekly roster.

• Reliability in handling cash‑related transactions and accurate record‑keeping.
• Flexibility to work shifts in a fast‑paced, luxury hospitality setting.
