Millwright - Hands-On Machine Maintenance Technician

About the role

A recruiter is looking for hands-on technicians, with preference for millwrights, to maintain, troubleshoot and repair machinery in manufacturing and production environments. Relevant experience can come from FMCG, food production, packaging, processing plants, automotive manufacturing, heavy industry and other industrial sectors.

Required profile

• Red Seal Millwright qualification is mandatory; a trade-tested qualification recognised in South Africa is required.
• 2 to 8 years of post-qualification experience as a Millwright or Electromechanical Maintenance Technician.
• Experience performing preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience in manufacturing, production, FMCG, food processing, packaging, automotive or heavy industry is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills, proactive attitude, motivation to build a long-term career, willingness to relocate if necessary and willingness to work shifts.
