Mid-Level IT Support Technician

About the role

Shepstone & Wylie Attorneys is looking for a mid‑level IT Support Technician to provide day‑to‑day technical assistance to the head office in Durban and its branch locations. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining network infrastructure and supporting cloud‑based services.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑line and advanced technical support to end‑users across the head office and remote branches.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Windows operating systems, laptops, desktops and printers.
• Configure, monitor and resolve issues on routers, switches and wireless access points.
• Administer Office 365 accounts and other cloud services, ensuring proper licensing and security.
• Document incidents, resolutions and contribute to IT knowledge‑base.
• Assist with IT asset inventory and routine administrative tasks.

Required profile

• National Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on IT support experience, preferably in a legal environment.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable personal transportation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Required skills

• Windows operating systems.
