Mechanical Engineer – Design, Project & Manufacturing

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Centurion. The role offers exposure to design, project engineering, manufacturing, maintenance and product development across a range of innovative packaging machinery projects.
Key responsibilities
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D schematics using AutoCAD, SolidWorks and Inventor.
- Plan, execute and commission mechanical projects from concept to hand‑over.
- Design, build and install packaging machinery on‑site across South Africa and the wider African region.
- Conduct purchasing, supplier research and cost optimisation for project components.
- Provide technical support during field installations and troubleshoot equipment issues.
Required profile
- BEng or BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Proven experience in mechanical design, project planning and machinery installation.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; a valid passport is required.
