Mathematics Teacher (Years 7-12)

About the role

Our Lady of Mercy College (OLMC) Heidelberg is seeking a dedicated Mathematics Teacher for years 7‑12, including Units 1‑4, Specialist and Methods. The successful candidate will start on 27 January 2027 and will work full‑time in a dynamic Catholic secondary school for girls.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess the mathematics curriculum for years 7‑12.
• Develop specialist and methods programmes in line with the school’s academic standards.
• Monitor and report on student progress, providing targeted support where needed.
• Contribute to the school’s wellbeing and inclusion initiatives.
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and professional development.

Required profile

• Qualified secondary mathematics teacher with current VIT registration.
• Legal right to live and work in Australia.
• Demonstrated experience teaching mathematics to secondary students.
• Commitment to the values of Catholic education and to fostering a supportive learning environment.
• Ability to provide certified academic transcripts and references.
