Marketing Assistant – Luxury Beauty

About the role

Join L'Oréal Luxe in Johannesburg as a Marketing Assistant and help bring world‑renowned luxury beauty brands to life. You will support the Brand Manager in executing 360° campaigns, managing brand assets, and ensuring a premium experience for luxury consumers across all touchpoints.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Brand Manager to execute product launches and promotional campaigns.
• Create marketing materials, POS tools, and merchandising assets following international brand guidelines.
• Coordinate with creative, media, and PR agencies to deliver promotional assets on schedule.
• Support retail teams in executing in‑store animations and calendars.
• Assist with social media content calendars, influencer briefings, and monitoring e‑commerce brand presentation.
• Handle operational logistics for testers, samples, GWP items, and coordinate shipping and customs for promotional items.
• Maintain organized digital brand folders with assets, campaign imagery, and press releases.
• Support PR launches, influencer seeding, and luxury events, including assembling gifting boxes and acting as brand ambassador.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; higher education mandatory.
• Passion for luxury beauty and strong attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of marketing principles, social media platforms, and e‑commerce trends.

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Advanced PowerPoint skills.
