Manufacturing Operator – Process Plant

About the role
The Manufacturing Operator will run a dedicated section of a process plant, ensuring that gauges, instruments and utilities stay within defined limits. You will keep accurate log sheets, report any changes in raw materials or utilities, and step in on different production lines as needed.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and adjust gauges and instruments to maintain prescribed operating limits.
- Record changes in utilities and raw materials on log sheets.
- Operate a specific section of the process plant and provide relief on other lines when required.
- Report machinery and equipment faults promptly.
- Uphold safety, health and hygiene standards at all times.
Required profile
- Grade 12 education.
- Approximately 1.5 years of production experience in an FMCG environment.
- Experience in food processing and packaging.
- Knowledge of health and safety standards.
Required skills
- Forklift licence (advantageous).
- Computer literacy.
