Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

Dream Hotels & Resorts is looking for a hands‑on Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the day‑to‑day upkeep of Mantuma Camp in the uMkhuze Game Reserve. You will ensure guest rooms, public areas, staff accommodation and all infrastructure are safe, functional and presented to the highest hospitality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and carry out preventative maintenance programmes across accommodation, offices and facilities.
• Perform general maintenance tasks including plumbing, basic electrical work, carpentry, painting, tiling and plastering.
• Maintain plant and equipment such as generators, pumps, boreholes, geysers, water‑reticulation, air‑conditioning and refrigeration units.
• Repair fixtures, fittings, doors, windows, furniture and guest‑room equipment.
• Keep pathways, fencing, signage and camp infrastructure in good condition.
• Monitor and report major equipment failures that require specialist contractors.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated and solutions‑driven with the ability to work independently in a remote bush environment.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and environmental responsibility.
• Experience in multi‑disciplinary maintenance within hospitality or similar settings.
