Logistics Coordinator – Fruit Export

About the role

A client of ARVO is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join its growing team in Southern Paarl. The role supports the logistics function through accurate administration, coordination and documentation in a fast-paced fruit export environment. It is a permanent, full-time position on site, with a market-related salary depending on experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage export documentation and ensure all paperwork is accurate and submitted on time
• Assist with logistics planning, scheduling, instructions and operational coordination
• Handle stock control for both export and local inventory
• Perform administration on the OX/Prophet system
• Compile and submit reports on logistics and operational data
• Support the logistics manager with day-to-day tasks and maintain accurate documentation
• Help with additional logistics and supply chain coordination duties

Required profile

• Matric; a relevant tertiary qualification or diploma is advantageous
• 2-3 years' experience in a similar logistics role, ideally in the fruit export industry
• Bilingual Afrikaans and English
• Reliable transport to and from work
• Willingness to work after hours during peak seasons

Required skills

• Working knowledge of the OX/Prophet system
• Microsoft Excel
• Strong organisation, planning and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities
