Code 10 Driver

About the role

DC Meat Wholesalers, based in Paarl in the Western Cape, is looking for experienced, reliable and professional Code 10 drivers. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a final driving assessment before appointment.

Key responsibilities

• Safely transport meat products along scheduled delivery routes.
• Ensure deliveries are accurate and completed on time.
• Maintain the cold chain during transport.
• Carry out daily vehicle inspections and report any defects or incidents.
• Complete and return all delivery documents accurately.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service.
• Comply with road traffic regulations, company policies and safety procedures.
• Keep company vehicles clean, secure and well maintained.
• Assist with loading and unloading when required.

Required profile

• Valid Code 10 driver's licence and a valid, non-expired Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
• At least 2-3 years of proven Code 10 driving experience.
• Police clearance certificate not older than 3 months.
• Able to work early mornings, overtime and weekends when required.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
