Lodge Assistant – Waterberg Game Lodge

About the role

This junior all‑rounder position is ideal for someone eager to learn and gain experience across multiple lodge departments in the remote Waterberg region of Limpopo. You will support guest services, housekeeping, dining, maintenance and more, ensuring the lodge runs smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Guest hosting and front‑of‑house support (20%)
• Housekeeping and room preparation (20%)
• Dining, bar, and service assistance (15%)
• Laundry and back‑of‑house support (15%)
• Gardening and basic maintenance support (15%)
• General lodge assistance across departments (15%)

Required profile

• Clear criminal record
• Strong, reliable employment history with verified references
• Reliable transport to a remote farm location
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• South African citizen or valid work permit
• Hospitality/tourism qualification advantageous
• Previous lodge or hospitality experience beneficial
• Ability to multitask and work in a remote environment
• Good physical stamina and willingness to learn
