Link Building Specialist (Remote, South Africa)

About the role

We are seeking a data‑driven Link Building Specialist to execute and optimise outreach‑focused SEO campaigns. Working remotely from South Africa, you will identify high‑quality prospects, manage large volumes of outreach data, and directly contribute to client SEO performance.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify relevant prospects and websites for outreach campaigns.
• Qualify and assess websites to ensure alignment with client SEO strategies.
• Execute outreach processes to generate high‑quality link‑building opportunities.
• Onboard new websites into internal systems and outreach workflows.
• Upload and maintain accurate data in email tools, Google Sheets, and internal dashboards.
• Respond to campaign‑related emails and support operational communication.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency in data tracking and reporting across all SEO activities.

Required profile

• Strong written English communication skills.
• Experience using G‑Suite tools (Google Sheets, Docs, etc.).
• Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs or similar platforms.
• Ability to follow structured processes and step‑by‑step instructions with precision.
• Reliable personal computer, stable internet connection, headset and microphone.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage high‑volume, repetitive, metrics‑driven tasks effectively.
• Nice to have: 2+ years of SEO experience and prior exposure to outreach campaigns.
