About the role
Nelson Mandela University seeks a dedicated Lecturer in Logistics to join its Department of Logistics. The role involves delivering high‑quality teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, advancing research, and contributing to the department’s academic administration.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver lectures and facilitate learning for logistics modules through face‑to‑face and online sessions.
- Conduct, publish, and present research in the field of logistics.
- Supervise and mentor postgraduate students on their research projects.
- Perform academic administration duties, including module coordination and student assessment.
- Engage with the broader university community to support departmental initiatives.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Logistics (mandatory).
- Holding or pursuing a PhD in Logistics (advantage).
- Proven experience lecturing logistics modules at undergraduate level.
- Postgraduate teaching experience is desirable.
- Minimum two years of relevant lecturing or industry experience in logistics.
- Publications in accredited journals or conference proceedings are strongly recommended.
