Learning and Development Facilitator

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic and highly organized Learning and Development (L&D) Facilitator to bridge complex claims operations and frontline excellence. You will design, deliver, and assess training programmes for service and claims consultants, ensuring they have the technical expertise, system proficiency, and empathy needed to process claims efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver learning events, interventions and programmes aligned to business and learning needs.
• Own the end‑to‑end learning experience, encouraging active engagement and achievement of learning goals.
• Provide feedback on content, implementation, uptake and outcomes to relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the L&D team, subject‑matter experts and other stakeholders to stay current on subject matter.
• Adapt facilitation approaches to suit diverse learning styles.
• Coordinate logistics and tools to ensure smooth delivery of learning interventions.
• Gather evaluation data, compile reports and provide progress feedback.
• Maintain accurate records and administer assessments in line with regulations.
• Identify and deliver post‑learning initiatives to embed learning.
• Offer expert advice to clients and stakeholders, manage service level agreements and recommend improvements.

Required profile

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Learning and Development or a related field (essential).
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable personal transport.
• OD‑ETDP NQF level 5 certification.
• 3–5 years of learning facilitation experience.
• Exposure to the insurance or financial services environment (preferred).
