Learning and Development Coordinator

About the role

As a Learning and Development Coordinator at Epiroc, you will help shape a culture of continuous learning across the Sub‑Sahara region, supporting roughly 3,000 employees in 13 countries. You will manage the end‑to‑end coordination of learning activities, ensuring high‑quality learner experiences and alignment with regional strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer learning offerings in line with the regional forecast, maintaining quality and relevance.
• Manage registrations, track attendance, and provide daily support for both online and face‑to‑face sessions, handling technical and logistical arrangements.
• Collect and analyse feedback from learning evaluations, identify improvement areas, and communicate deviations to stakeholders.
• Enhance learner experience using target‑group insights, business requirements, and basic marketing principles to boost engagement.
• Produce learning and development reports, support HR forums, and advocate for process improvements.
• Lead communication campaigns around learning initiatives to raise awareness and enthusiasm.
• Identify and propose innovative, digitised, and agile process enhancements.
• Implement global L&D strategies locally, ensuring compliance with KPIs and proper use of tools such as Cornerstone and LinkedIn Learning.
• Promote data‑driven decision‑making and maintain accurate metrics for leadership.
• Collaborate with HR colleagues at local, regional, and global levels to support the Regional Centre of Excellence.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in learning and development functions.
• Familiarity with South African Skills Development requirements is an advantage.

Required skills

• Experience with learning management systems such as Cornerstone and LinkedIn Learning.
• Proficient use of Microsoft 365 suite, including Teams and SharePoint.
• Strong capabilities in systems administration, reporting, and data analysis.
