About the role
VKB Group is hiring a Learner Grain Grader for its grain business. The role oversees the sample-taking process and ensures that grain is graded in line with statutory requirements. The position is based in Lehau, a rural community in Limpopo, close to farming operations.
Key responsibilities
- Grain grading according to procedures and regulations
- Logistics function covering incoming and outgoing grain administration
- Job-related administrative functions
- Handling, facilitating and resolving disputes
- Completing all compulsory courses
Required profile
- Matric (Grade 12) or NQF level 4
- Experience in the agriculture sector is advantageous
- Clear criminal record and traceable references
- Own reliable transport
- Able to speak and understand Afrikaans
Required skills
- All relevant grading courses must be completed through in-service training
- Computer literacy and an administration background
- Excellent communication skills; thorough, precise and accurate
